How do I manually enable Intel turbo boost technology?
Ok I have an Intel i7 quad core processor in my laptop. It has a base frequency of 1.6 GHz and it can max out to 2.8 GHz. I play a lot of games so sometimes I really need it to run at a speed higher the 1.6 GHz. When I put the turbo boost gadget on my desktop sometimes the meter fluctuates but I don't know if it's actually working. Is there a way I can make it turn on manually?
Also is my processor good enough for gaming? I mean I know it's a good one, most games I play run so well but 1 or 2 others I've played just lagged like hell...
Thanks Alpha but that already came with my computer in a whitepage. I read it and I still have no clue how to activate it. Do you know how I can accsess my bios?
