do you have a hp or compaq laptop computer or know someone that does? what are the pros and cons?
Had Compaq laptops for years before HP took 'em over. GREAT tech support back then. Late experiences with HP laptops has ben good. Built pretty well, haven't needed to call Tech Support. One thing, though. Don't buy the low end units. Spring for the more "professional" models, equipped with XP. They are usually a little more robust and trust me you should have XP Pro if U R gonna use Windows. Spring for the service contract IF THE CALL CENTER FOR THAT SERVICE IS N THE US. You usually then don't get someone in Bangladesh if U have to call, and if you don't speak Urdu, as I do not, you can have a conversation with the tech. Hope this helps,
