can you use a wireless USB LAN adapter to connect to the internet on your Wii?
I want to know if you can plug a wireless USB LAN adapter into your computer/laptop and be able to connect to the internet on your Wii... I am trying to find the cheapest way to get internet on my Wii. I know you can buy a router or get the wired LAN adapter from nintendo to connect to the internet but both are pretty expensive options...
it won't work like that bottom line, you need something that will take the internet (cable dsl or whatever) and broadcast it on a wireless network. now, if you can get on ebay, they sell wifi dongles to take the internet from the pc and send it to the wii or ds. "N" stopped making them but they are common on ebay. if i was you, i'd just look into getting a use router from craigslist or a new one somewhere. stop being so stengy, you want something, you gotta pay for it. good luck.
