In the Marine Corps how do you get tools your mos does not rate?
When I was in the field we have one set of wire cutters and I have been borrowing my Corporal's Gerber. But we need wire strippers, volt tester which we do not rate. I went to our Corporal went to my SGT, went to a SSGT, and went to my Gunny. so I used the chain of command but last time I was was in the field I used my teeth to strip the wire, and to find the live wire I was grabbing two ends of the wire and zapping myself which was not much fun at all. LOL I am being serious lol The reason we do not rate some of the tools cause our unit is so small.
I see where u r coming from Corporal.. but kinda hard to tip RJ45 cord, when the wires have to be cut nice and clean, with the one set of wire cutters we got lol
You did join the Marine Corps right? Then quit complaining and make due with what you have. The shortage is like this through the entire Marine Corps. Get back to me when you are in the infantry and you have to have a ghetto rigged weapon.
