what could be wrong with this?
I have been given a Buffalo 500gb Link Station Live (external HDD) as a gift. Its connected OK, its just a matter of connecting it with your router by ethernet & plugging into a power point. I have run the installation CD which takes all of 1 minute. Then it says I have installed it successfully. However it says you will notice 2 new Icons on the Desktop. 1 says "shortcut for LINKSTATION" the other says, according to the manual "BUFFALO NAS Navigator" but this Icon is missing. I have uninstalled it & re installed it acouple of times but no luck. Would I be doing something wrong. I'm running Windows XP Home. Hope this makes sense.. Thanks
You could try the updated version of the NAS Navigator.
