Can you use any ethernet cable to connect an xbox 360 to xbox live?
i just recently purchased an xbox, pretty much on the sole purpose to use it for xbox live. once i got it though, i realized that my xbox was way too far from my router to connect to it with the standard cable that came with the xbox. in order to fix the problem, i looked up the wireless adapter for the xbox. once i found out it cost 100, i thought there must be a cheaper solution. so what im trying to say is, iLookk online and see a bunch of cables with all these weird names like: Belkin A3L791-S 25-Foot RJ45 CAT 5e Snagless Molded Patch Cable, and i have no idea what that means. they all have the ethernet thing on the end, but I'm just not sure if i buy it, only to find out it wont work. please help me!
the rj45 is just the type of jack it is and snagless is just the thing at the end to keep the clip from hooking other wires i used a regular cable to it should work mine is 50 feet
