When i connect lan cable to laptop from desktop,i have to call ISP to continue net access on LAPTOP?
Whenever i do this i have to call ISP,then i have to say i have connected my lan cable to laptop from desktop so after some time i will get net on laptop,then again i have to call ISP after connecting dektop,what the doing,how can it done by myself help me
Your MAC address is probably being linked to the connection at your ISP. Simplest way around this is to get a router which will be the permanent MAC address, and therefore makes it irrelevant which computer is connected to it. Your ISP should be able to advise you on this.
