Need help finding WEP or other key to let wireless device gain access to wireless router?
Trying to connect the iphone to wifi but keep getting asked for a password. Can't find any key on the router. My friend wants to know how to get the key to log in with her iphone but does not want to reset anything on the router. Her wireless router is by D link but her internet provider is time warner. Do you think time warner should tell her or help her with finding the wifi password?

You can find it yourself if you have access to the desktop that the router is connected to.
Click Start> Run> type: cmd
Press enter. Inblack box, type: ipconfig
Enter. Write down # next to Default Gateway (something like, 192.168.1.1).
Type that # into your browser address bar and hit enter.
Router Log On window will appear. Type in Name & Password (see below). Click on Wireless Security and look for where it says WEP Shared Key. That's it.
