Telephone cable from wall to phone !!!!?
Daughter moved to a new house, I connected a 20 metre phone cable from original Bt socket to her phone, to allow her to use the phone, until BT came and ran their cabling to where my daughter wanted the connection.
The phone works ok with the 20 metre cable, but it is now too long. I tried a 1 metre extenson cable from BT socket to phone, no joy, then bought a 1 metre wall to phone cable still no joy. So we are back to the 20 metre cable. Could someone perhaps throw some light on problem and possible remedy. Thanks
