What kind of propane conversion kit do I need?
I have a Warm Morning incinerator model l-20. It is designed for indoor use, it hooks up to the natural gas line. However I want to use it outdoors by connecting it to a propane tank. What kind of natural gas to propane conversion kit do I need for this incinerator? Thanks.
To convert this appliance, you MUST get a conversion kit from the original manufacturer. They will give you a new rating plate which is their proof that this appliance is "certified" for use with that fuel. If you "Mcgyver" the appliance and try and convert it by just changing or drilling orifices etc, you will void the manufacturer's warranty. Also, the manufacturer will take no responsibility if this appliance hurts anyone or property is damaged because you have "altered" the appliance. Insurance companies will deny claims for the same reason.
On the appliance's rating plate you will find the model and serial number along with the manufacturer's contact information. If they don't sell you one directly, they should be able to put you in touch with a dealer in your area.
Once you have the factory conversion kit installed by a qualified technician you are good to go!
