How do I forward incoming calls to voice-mail on my office phone?
On my office phone, an inter-tel 3000, there used to be a feature allowing me to forward a call to voice-mail as the extension was ringing. However, after resetting the system, this option no longer appears. I've searched through all kinds of manuals, documentations, and websites without finding a solution. I think I have to do something with the "system programming" feature, but there are so many options that make no sense to me. What should I do to get that little "forward to voice-mail" option back?

It's your manual, but I'd look first at pdf page 60 in your manual to see if Voice Mail is assigned to your extension. If it isn't that's a problem. If it is, keep looking in the manual to see why FORWARD to VM doesn't appear as an option. The other option, which ought to give you a clue is if FORWARD to EXTENSION works. If that works, and VM is enabled on your extension, I'm betting on an improper installation or designation of the VM port, which may have changed on the reset.
