Will the Seagate Momentus 7200.4 ST9500420AS Hard Drive work in my PS3?
I need to know, because I got the 80 GB version, and it seems that 30 GB has been used up already, which is ridiculous. I have only had the PS3 for like a week.
you can use any 2.5" SATA hard disk even up to 500 gb.as for the rpm,5400 is ok.7200rpm is fine but there are complaints about the PS3 fan getting louder when using 7200rpm though the load speed from saved game is slightly fast.if you're wondering what's the biggest hard disk that can be installed in the PS3,it's the Samsung SpinPoint M60S HM500LI 500gb.hope that helped.
