iMac microphone not compatible with Steam?
I have a late 2009 21.5 inch iMac. I'm running Windows XP SP3 through bootcamp so I can play games through steam. The games run just fine and I like playing them, but I also liked being able to talk to people with the mic with my old set-up. The main issue is that the built in mic won't pick up signal when I talk. I've tried to use the mic in Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike: Source, and Half-Life Deathmatch, but none of them seem to pick up anything through the mic. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this problem (like if there are drivers I need installed). The built in audio is called Cirrus Logic HD Audio or something like that.

Nevermind. I found drivers that work well with the Cirrus Logic Audio card. If anyone else is still having this problem (since it started in June 2009), the link to the drivers is here.

Glad to see that you got it working
