It seems yet another piece of redundant and inelegant management jargon. Preumably it means "in the future" or "future". Where does this cr@p come from? Do you like "going forward" and use it whenever possible, or do you dislike it?
It's meaningless tosh meant to imply a deep sense of intelligence in the user when, of course, it is just a mindless cliche. The sort of language beloved of politicians, incompetent management and the intellectually immature. You may have guessed that I am not the phrase's biggest fan!
