need help installing my Line Output Converter?
I bought a Scosche LOC from Wal-Mart (its the blue scosche one) to hook up my aftermarket subs and amp to my BMW with a stock head unit. It only had one black cord coming out of the input, I tried tying that wire to my stock speakers, but that was a fail. Can somebody tell me who makes a LOC that works?..or did I do something wrong? I ran the RCA cables from the output on the LOC the amp also. I was looking at pictures of other LOC's and they had multiple wires on them, not just one wire.
I have the same LOC in my car.

The black wire is a chassis ground, it's not for speakers.
You have to supply the wires that go from the scosche unit to your stock speaker wires. If you look at it from the top you'll see a row of small screws along the top and bottom. Those are all set screws. Just strip off about 1/4" of wire for each speaker +/-, back the appropriate screw out a few turns, insert the wire and tighten the screw down.
