If my neighbor put up a brick wall on their side of the property line and took down the exsisting fence?
on the property line, am i obligated to construct another fence on the property line or is the wall they built sufficient?
There is no obligation, but keep in mind a few things
1) It is THEIR building. You can not attach anything to it or do anything to it without their permission.
2) You can build a fence up to it and then use their wall as a continuation of the barrier, but you should make sure that whatever you construct is on YOUR property.
3) Was the fence they took down theirs or yours or shared? If they took down a shared or your fence, then you may wish to discuss this with the neighbors.
4) Are you certain that the new wall is on THEIR property?
